Luke Benedict enjoys the personalities at play in each new lawsuit.  Meeting the parties, attorneys, witnesses, experts, law enforcement officers and insurance adjusters is an enriching experience. He is intrigued by lawsuits involving psychological injuries and has noticed an increase in the number of plaintiffs alleging post-traumatic stress disorder and other serious mental health issues arising out of the underlying accident/incident.

Luke has attended numerous seminars and conferences on transportation law, including ALFA Transportation Group Seminars and DRI Trucking Law Seminars.  He has defended numerous wrongful death cases and serious personal injury cases, e.g., spinal cord injury cases.  Luke also takes part in DRI Civil Rights and Governmental Liability Seminars and has been involved in several high profile civil rights cases filed against a school district arising out of alleged sexual misconduct, all of which were resolved following extensive motion practice.
