As a firm engaged primarily in trial practice for over 50 years Daniel Coker Horton & Bell has an active practice before both state and federal appellate courts. An appeal is the primary responsibility of lead counsel who tried the case, and our attorneys are schooled in the subtle art of making a complete record with crisp legal issues without compromising the most effective presentation to the finder of fact.

As the firm continues to grow, it is also developing a core group of experienced attorneys who focus their practice on the appellate aspect of dispute resolution. In appropriate cases and with client approval, appellate counsel will participate in the development of the trial record and legal theories in anticipation of an appeal.
