Daniel Coker Horton & Bell’s labor and employment law practice group is engaged in the practice of labor relations and employment law exclusively on behalf of management.

DCH&B’s attorneys handle litigation of labor and employment claims in Mississippi state courts and federal courts for public and private employers, including claims under Title VII, Civil Right Acts of 1964, 1866 and 1871, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Equal Pay Act, Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, Americans With Disabilities Act, Family Medical Leave Act, state-law employment matters such as “at-will” employment cases, non-competition covenant cases and occupational safety and health laws.
While the group focuses on litigation, our attorneys engage in mediation, arbitration, administrative proceedings (EEOC, OSHA), and creative dispute resolution. DCH&B’s attorneys also are involved with drafting employment contracts, employee handbooks, advising employers on hiring and firing decisions, non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, and sexual harassment policies.
