Marissa brings a strong work ethic and legal research and writing skills to the table. She is an associate in the Oxford office, and her practice is focused on general litigation and insurance defense and civil rights and governmental liability.
In law school, Marissa was a student extern at the Federal Public Defender’s Office for the Northern District of Mississippi and an intern for the Shelby County Public Defender’s Office in Memphis, Tennessee. She also worked at the Grisham Law Library, assisting patrons with legal research databases and was selected as a Graduate Legal Research Assistant. Marissa was elected by her peers as President of the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity.
