The Mississippi Supreme Court affirmed the trial court’s declaratory judgment in favor of the Diamondhead Fire Protection District and its commissioners in a case where Diamondhead property owners were claiming a fee assessment funding the district was an illegal tax, and thus, the District had allegedly collected over $10,000,000.00 in illegal fees over the years.
