DANIEL COKER CLIENT WINS FAVORABLE JUDGMENT IN MS COURT OF APPEALS

Firm News

The board of supervisors denied a request by Daniel Coker’s client for a zoning map amendment, based on the board’s procedurally flawed 2019 re-zoning of the subject’s property. After the trial court entered an order affirming the board of supervisors’ decision against the client, the Mississippi Court of Appeals reversed and rendered judgment in the client’s favor. This final determination by the appellate court clarified and confirmed the zoning classification of the client’s property and permitted the client to continue with development pursuant to the guidelines for that classification.
