Overview

Miles is an experienced litigator who regularly handles a diverse range of matters in both trial court and on appeal. He has successfully represented a wide array of clients including individuals, businesses, and governmental entities.  He thrives in that diversity, embracing the many and varied challenges that naturally come with complex matters.

Miles has litigated cases across the substantive spectrum, including product liability, pharmaceutical product liability, commercial breach of contract, construction disputes, wrongful death, medical liability, fraud, securities fraud, and civil rights violations. Miles has even been recognized as one of the Best Lawyers within municipal law. His practice spans from single-event cases to mass tort and multidistrict litigation. Miles’ appellate experience helps him anticipate future issues, successfully positioning and litigating cases for successful resolution from the outset.

In addition to his law practice, Miles is involved in community and local bar organizations. Among these activities, he serves on the Mississippi Bar’s Professionalism Committee and is a past member of the Bench-Bar Liaison Committee. Miles is also an At-Large Director of the Young Lawyer’s Division and frequent CLE presenter for the Mississippi Bar’s “Bridge the Gap” New-Lawyer Program.

Before joining Daniel Coker, Miles served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jim M. Greenlee of the Mississippi Court of Appeals.
