Overview
Miles is an experienced litigator who regularly handles a diverse range of matters in both trial court and on appeal. He has successfully represented a wide array of clients including individuals, businesses, and governmental entities. He thrives in that diversity, embracing the many and varied challenges that naturally come with complex matters.
Miles has litigated cases across the substantive spectrum, including product liability, pharmaceutical product liability, commercial breach of contract, construction disputes, wrongful death, medical liability, fraud, securities fraud, and civil rights violations. Miles has even been recognized as one of the Best Lawyers within municipal law. His practice spans from single-event cases to mass tort and multi-district litigation. Miles’ appellate experience helps him anticipate future issues, successfully positioning and litigating cases for successful resolution from the outset.
In addition to his law practice, Miles is heavily involved in community and local bar organizations, including the Lafayette County Bar Association, where he currently serves as President. Miles also serves on the Bench-Bar Liaison Committee and is a past member of the Bar’s Professionalism Committee. He also serves as At-Large Director of the Young Lawyer’s Division and is a frequent CLE presenter for the Mississippi Bar’s “Bridge the Gap” New-Lawyer Program.
