In this role, The Honorable George E. Read is appointed to preside over appeals involving decisions made by the Mississippi Division of Medicaid. These appeals may include disputes concerning eligibility, coverage, provider reimbursements, and other administrative actions. Serving as a neutral decision-maker, our attorney conducts formal hearings, evaluates evidence and testimony, and issues written rulings based on applicable state and federal Medicaid laws.
