Court Applies Newly Enacted Mississippi Landowner Protection Act In Favor Of Defendant

Summary judgment was granted in favor of restaurant owner/operator dismissing plaintiff’s claims on grounds a third-party assault on the premises was not foreseeable and that plaintiff failed to meet his burden under the newly enacted Mississippi Landowner Protection Act. Miss. Code Ann. § 11-1-66.
