The Mississippi Business Journal announced its 2014 Leadership in Law Class, and Roy A. Smith was among the Top Ten Leaders in Law. Roy joins an elite group of Daniel Coker Horton & Bell attorneys who have received similar awards over the last five years, including John Benton Clark, 2010; Jack Ables, 2011, Trey Byars, 2012,  and Terry Levy 2013 (who was also Lawyer of the Year).
