An Action Charging a Hospice Care Provider Negligent

In an action charging a hospice care provider negligently failed to confiscate or remove his firearms and ammunition from its terminally ill patient’s private residence before he allegedly murdered his housekeeper (then killed himself), the Circuit Court of Lee County granted Ables’ summary judgment motion, finding there was no such legal duty as alleged and that plaintiff had admitted facts that justified final summary judgment.
