Finding for School District over Alleged Breach of Duty and Standard of Care

A school district was sued after an incident where students threw rocks or bricks at the visiting team’s bus at a sporting event breaking a window and cutting the plaintiff.   The case was tried in the Circuit Court of Sunflower County in August, 2017, and the judge found on June 25, 2018, that the school district exercised ordinary care in implementing its security plan and breached no duty.
