Unanimous Defense Verdict on Underinsured Motorist Coverage

Following a two day trial in the Circuit Court of Harrison County, Mississippi, for underinsured motorist coverage, the jury returned a unanimous verdict for less than the applicable liability offset and alleged medicals; thus, the Plaintiff took nothing.  In closing, Plaintiff’s counsel asked the jury for $98,000.00 based on approximately $23,000.00 in submitted medicals.
