Summary Judgment Obtained in Jones County

Summary Judgment was obtained in Jones County, Mississippi, in favor of a drywall wholesaler.  Plaintiff’s claim involved “Chinese drywall” which had been purchased by their contractor from our Defendant wholesaler.  The Court granted summary judgment pursuant to the innocent seller provision of the Mississippi Products Liability Act.

Obtained summary judgment for defendant agricultural manufacturers in high exposure product liability action where plaintiff alleged combine was defective and caused plaintiff to sustain severe injuries, including bilateral below knee amputations.  Court entered summary judgment after excluding plaintiff’s engineering expert pursuant to defendants’ Daubert motion.
