Daniel Coker’s Damage Evaluation Matches Trial Outcome

This case arose from an automobile accident in Jackson County, MS. Plaintiff alleged that she sustained certain medical injuries caused by our defendant client. Before trial, Defendant made a $12,000 offer of judgment. Plaintiff did not accept the offer, and the case proceeded to trial. At trial, Plaintiff’s counsel chose not to introduce Plaintiff’s medical bills of approximately $5,000 because he felt it diminished the claim. Instead, Plaintiff strongly argued the “reptile” theory without a lot of success. At the conclusion of the case, the jury returned a verdict of $12,000. Attorney Ed Taylor represented Defendant.
