Summary Judgment for Defendant School District in slip and fall case

Summary judgment was granted in favor of defendant School District.  Plaintiff walked into school building and slipped down in the hallway severely breaking her ankle/foot and incurring $133,000 in medical expenses.  The fall was captured on video surveillance and showed nothing on the floor where Plaintiff slipped.  The Court held the District was entitled to immunity pursuant to the Mississippi Tort Claims Act finding that no dangerous condition existed which contributed to her fall/injuries.  Plaintiff later appealed the ruling; however, the appeal was dismissed by the Mississippi Supreme Court.
